Photoshop CS6 will not read RAW files from my Olympus OM-D E-M1. Going through the Help files to find an appropriate file to download for CS6, the right hand side of my screen is always covered by a text box obscuring the information I needed. Please can someone tell me where to find the file I need.

Ik heb CR2 bestanden van mijn camera geïmporteerd op mijn PC. Vandaar uit wil ik deze importeren in Lightroom Classic CC. Heeft altijd goed gewerkt. Nu krijg ik plots een melding "voorvertoning niet beschikbaar voor dit bestand". Lightroom geeft de foutmelding dat niet alle importbewerkingen zijn uitgevoerd. Wat kan de oorzaak hier van zijn. Bij het openen van het RAW bestand in de verkenner krijg ik ook maar een deel van de foto te zien. In de verkenner zelf zijn wel de foto's als grote pictogrammen te zien.

This is something that has been bothering me for a while and I don't understand how other people don't see it.. Mainly due to the fact that you need to be zoomed in about 300% or more on an image to see it. I have only seen Lightroom 3 rendered jpeg files without this problem. I am talking about the absurdly weird artifacts in the pixel makeup when zoomed in on a edited image rendered by Adobe Camera raw 5.6 and lower. It looks like worms have been moving around under all the pixels. It is not a clean and definate pixel noise ratio that you would get from rendering images from their native software for example ViewNX, Capture NX nor Canon's DPP.
I'm using Lightroom 5.7 and I have Adobe RAW plug-in 9.12 installed and I have a Nikon 7500 shooting RAW NEF file and I can't open NEF files. WHY?
I still have the excellent Photoshop CS2 and bought a Canon EOS Rebel T2i. However, the raw files come up in Bridge without picture preview. The file is a CR2 file. When double-clicked, Photoshop 2 opens and gives error dialog:
"Could not complete request because not right kind of document."
I see that version 5.7 and 6.1 of Adobe Camera Raw Plug in are compatible with this camera. Can I use either plug in with Photoshop 2?
I have Lightroom 4.3 and it keeps asking for Camera Raw 7.3 when I want to edit photos in Photoshop CS6 from LR. My understanding of the Adobe support site is that Camera Raw 7.3 is only available via the Update function in Photoshop. I updated Photoshop but LR still asks for Camera Raw 7.3 and Photoshop still shows Camera Raw 7.2 as the installed version (under System info) and the Update function says Photoshop is up to date...how do I fix this?
There doesn't seem to be an easy way round this problem. How can I download a discrete CR 7.3 executable? My OS is Windows 8.
I am using an HP 840 laptop with 16mg RAM and 256 SSD drive. I am running Photoshop CC and camera raw as part of the Photography CC package so I am assuming it is the latest versions.
Photoshop and Lightroom all work well but when I try to view anything in Camera Raw the Screen is so large it doesn't fit on the screen. Consequently many of the buttons are off screen. I have tried setting then UI to 100% but it doesn't make any difference.
Any ideas?
I want to convert a folder full of HEIC files to JPEG and I was hoping Bridge could do this as a batch process.
I am getting the following error message in Bridge (which spawns Photoshop CC in the process) when I try to open an HEIC image file:
"Photoshop Camera Raw does not support HEIC files on windows".
The Adobe Help page titled HEIC and HEVC media files support in Lightroom and Camera Raw says:
"In the Camera Raw Preferences dialog box, ensure that the JPEG/HEIC field is set to either Automatically open JPEGs and HEICs with settings or Automatically open all supported JPEGs and HEICs. To access Camera Raw Preferences, click the Open Preferences Dialog button in the Camera Raw dialog box."
Whether from Bridge or PS I do not see the above text in my Camera Raw Preferences dialog box even though I just updated LR Classic CC, PS CC 2019 and Camera Raw this morning.

I tried an Adobe support chat with Rahul about the disconnect between the Help Page and my Camera Raw Preferences. After he "researched" the subject he referred me to the same help page with the assertion that it will help. Things went downhill from there. I kept trying to get him to address the disconnect between the help page's references to JPEG/HEIC and that option not appearing at my end. He danced around it with all kinds of recommendations. "you need to convert the images to HEIC/HEVC media to JPEG/H.264 while transferring to a Mac or PC." and "Actually we cannot open the HEIC files directly we have to first convert the images into JPEG or some other format which is supported on the application." and "Actually you can use the current version and it is not only for Lightroom application for the Photoshop application as well you have to first convert it and then import it into the application."
The chat ended up being an endless loop so I clicked off.
I am not seeking concurrence about Adobe's deplorable support. Does anyone know about the error message I cite and in what universe does the referenced Help page apply?
I need some help- my blacks are showing up bright blue when I open in camera raw. As I adjust the black, it just gets worse. Is this my color setting on my computer or does anyone have suggestions?
If I need to uninstall/reinstall photoshop, am I going to have any trouble with my serial number being used again?
These are hopefully simple answers, but I just want to get it working right. Thanks!

When using the Camera Raw “Spot Removal Tool” or the “Adjustment Brush”, the selection tool is circular (which makes it difficult many times to select the exact spot). I have to make several smaller circular selections to get the exact area that I want to work on. Is there a way to make a free-hand selection (like you can in Photoshop)?
I am using ACR 6.6.

I bought a Nikon D750 a week or two ago and found out that Camera Raw didn't support this model. The very next morning there was an update available and now CR actually recognises my camera but still won't recognise RAW files, only .jpg. Is this the case for everyone or just me, as I did experience an error message when I installed the update?
I downloaded DNG Converter 9.1.0.441, clicked "Select Folder" then clicked the source folder containing ARW files. I wasn't sure about how to set compatibility prefs for the appropriate version of Camera Raw for my version of Lightroom 4.4, but began with Camera Raw 4.1, then to 4.6, though neither made a difference. An error message pops up, "The source folder does not contain an supported camera raw files". I believe my version of DNG Converter is up to date, the ARWs come from a new Sony AR7ii body, so what could it be? Thanks.
Just bought Nikon D7200 yesterday and now find out that my Elements 12 software will not process my images because the Raw Data profile for the D7200 is not in the files...Anyone else hear of this or know how to get the plug-in update ?
Update Manager popped up - told me there was an Update for ACR 8.3 for both Photoshop CS6 and Premier Elements 12
Dutifully started the update - then Application Manager crashed - no matter what I do I get the error U43M1U49 so want to try a manual download
So where can I find the ACR update. Went to the update page and it shows the DNG update - but nothing for ACR.

I just bought a Fujifilm X-E3 camera. I have Photoshop CS5. I can't import the RAF files. I read the help forums and have updated my RAW to version 6.7. I need version 10, but Adobe won't provide that update. So I downloaded the DNG converted as suggested by Adobe and the help forums. The application will not recognize the RAF files within the folder (I moved them to their own folder separate from the jpg files that the camera salesman wisely suggested I use in addition to RAW files). Now what. Adobe, tell me what to do so that my head will not explode. Thank you.

Camera Raw is not supporting RAF RAW files from my new Fujifilm camera and should use DNG converter to ceonvert the RAW files to DNG first.
After installing DNG converter on my desktop (Windows 10) it all seems to look fine. When I double click on the icon or exe in /programfiles/adobe/DNG converter not much seems to happen.
I also installed the DNG converter on a laptop and there it opens the application nicely and I'm able to do the conversion succesfully.
But that's not where my Lightroom resides.. ;(
Deinstallation seems not to be possible... I don't see an uninstaller nor DNG Converter seems to be registered in Windows as an installed program.
Any idea what's goining on or how to get this working on my desktop?
Basically I want to perform a post-production zoom in camera raw, like I would on my telephoto lens. For example, I have a full body shot of a horse and I want to zoom in to just the head so that my full frame is the head. I don't want to just crop around the head, I want to magnify it.
How do I get my issue resolved with Camera Raw not recognizing my NEF files from my Nikon D7200? I updated Cam Raw to version 9.1.1.461 and I see that my camera is on the supported list, but I still keep getting this error message, {Photoshop cannot open this file, make sure you have the latest Camera Raw update installed.} I have Photoshop CS6 ver.13.0.6 x64. Camera Raw does still recognize my older NEF files from my Nikon D90.
I've been using photoshop for some time now to edit and correct photos that I shoot with my camera but only now I noticed that if I open them with Photoshop, it is opened first in the Camera RAW plugin but is not using the flat image profile that I use when shooting photos.
Instead Camera RAW uses a image profile that is similar to a photo without a flat profile.
Is this normal? Could it be because of the .ARW Raw file format from Sony?
I shoot with the Sony a68, I use the Neutral image profile with -3 on sharpness, saturation and contrast, D-range optimizer on 5 so I have lots of "information" to work with, and I use Photoshop CC 2017 and Camera RAW 9.6.
I am using Camera Raw with Photoshop CC 2018 and am having trouble with viewing the histogram. Here's a picture of the camera raw UI for one of my pictures...
Also, if I attempt to resize the camera raw window, my picture above also becomes "garbled" just like the histogram view....
Any suggestions on how to fix this? I've tried re-installing the camera-raw 10.5 plugin once, and that did not help.
